Change is Coming (ChiC)
Change is Coming (ChiC) is an online initiative that encourages recognition of the power and responsibility of individuals in responding to, and instigating, change. We work towards a world where people have a clear and full understanding of the social environmental impacts of their voting, spending, and other consumer decisions. We believe that the way to achieve this is through the use of creative and collaborative action.
Though the current venture EnviroWiki.org.uk, Change is Coming hopes to work alongside the existing environmental movement to structure and unify information for those making their first 'green' steps.
On the Change is Coming website you can find introductory information about the science and politics of climate change, alongside brief explanations of how to calculate and address your carbon footprint. In addition, you can find information about Change is Coming campaigns, events and merchandise, with details of how you can get involved.
Although primarily based online, when the members of Change is Coming do meet in person it tends to be in London, in the Hackney area.
