About the Henley air quality campaign (HAQ)
The objectives of Henley’s air quality campaign are simple.
- To make sure that the quality of air in Henley improves in line with Government guidance;
- To encourage road users to make positive choices, realising that small changes to their lifestyle will have a real effect on air pollution and improve their own health and that of their family;
- To point out that choosing simple, everyday actions can result in financial savings;
- To provide residents and visitors alike with access to accurate, comprehensive and up to date information on the air they breathe when in the town.
Henley and gold standards are synonymous (just think of the town’s past, present and future rowers.) We want the quality of our air to reach gold medal levels as well. You can play an important part in making that happen.
